The University of Michigan School of Nursing Global Health Summer Institute is now accepting abstracts for Flash Presentations related to Global Health. Global Health topics may include but are not limited to maternal and child health, infectious disease, non-communicable disease, WASH, and nursing education.
2023 Global summer institute explored the intersection of research, practice and advocacy in climate change and health equity, in local and global contexts.

2021 Event Information
The University of Michigan School of Nursing’s 2021 Global Summer Institute took place May 11 through 13 for the first time in a virtual format, drawing attendees from 30 countries.
Focused on the theme of Sexual Reproductive Health and Rights for All, the 2021 agenda included presentations, skills sessions and panel discussions examining the intersection of research, practice and advocacy in sexual and reproductive health in local and global contexts. Over three half days, attendees had the opportunity to learn about innovative practice, research and policy trends while networking with practitioners, researchers and professionals from the U-M School of Nursing and institutions around the globe.
