Nursing Alumni Awards

The School of Nursing seeks nominations annually for alumni awards. Alumni of our great school are some of the most accomplished nursing professionals in the world, supporting the health of hundreds of thousands of individuals around the globe. The alumni awards program was created as a means to recognize our alumni whose career contributions in nursing or health care have been distinctive for their impact to the profession of nursing and the community in which they serve.

Since 2017, the UMSN Alumni Awards Committee has presented the Distinguished Alumni Award (now named Career Lifetime Achievement Award). Additional awards offered are: the Early Career Achievement Award, the Excellence in Clinical Practice Award, the Excellence in Nursing Research and Scholarship Award, and the Social and Political Advocacy Award.

Nominations for the 2023 year have closed. Nominations for 2024 will open in the spring of 2024.
