Masters Student Vanessa Hoyos Selected for Fellowship Award from U-M International Institute
Award provides funds for students to pursue interests in international affairs.
The University of Michigan International Institute has just recently announced that it has awarded almost $170,000 through its Individual Fellowship program, divided among 47 University students. Among those students is School of Nursing Masters student Vanessa Hoyos, who was awarded a fellowship to do work in Chile examining the determinants of adolescent obesity. The fellowship awards are merit-based and very competitive.
