Recent Alumna Receives Rackham Dissertation Award

Ruth Zielinski, a recent graduate of the School of Nursing's PhD Program, was selected to receive the ProQuest Distinguished Dissertation Award by the Rackham Graduate School. This annual award is given in recognition of exceptional scholarly work produced by University of Michigan doctoral students. Only eight are awarded by the Graduate School each year, and Ruth is the first School of Nursing doctoral student to receive this high honor. The co-chairs of Ruth's dissertation were Dr. Carolyn Sampselle and Dr. Lisa Kane Low.
